Problem Description:
CPU Fan is stopped or burnt.
Corrective Action:
Try the following:
1. Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.
2. Replace the Power Supply Unit (PSU).
3. If the System Error continues, replace the Main PCA.
Problem Description:
Problem with Power Supply Unit.
Corrective Action:
Try the following:
1. Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.
2. Perform the Electronics Module Test Diagnostic to troubleshoot the problem further.
3. If the System Error continues, replace the Power Supply Unit (PSU).
Problem Description:
Problem with the Carriage PCA.
Corrective Action:
Try the following:
1. Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.
2. Check that the Trailing Cable is not damaged.
3. Check that the Trailing Cable is correctly connected between the Main PCA and Carriage PCA.
4. If the System Error continues, replace the Trailing Cable.
5. If the System Error continues, replace the Carriage PCA.
6. If the System Error continues, replace the Main PCA.
7. If the System Error continues, replace the Formatter.
Problem Description:
Encoder seems to be wrong.
Corrective Action:
Try the following:
1. Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.
2. Check that the Trailing Cable is not damaged.
3. Check that the Trailing Cable is correctly connected between the Main PCA and Carriage PCA.
4. If the System Error continues, replace the Trailing Cable.
5. If the System Error continues, replace the Carriage PCA.
6. If the System Error continues, replace the Main PCA.
Problem Description:
Print Mech PCA fault or NVM backup failure.
Corrective Action:
Try the following:
1. Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.
2. If the System Error continues, replace the PrintMech PCA.
Problem Description:
NVM backup: not found, read, write or read back error.
Corrective Action:
Try the following:
1. Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.
2. If the System Error continues, replace the Main PCA.
3. If the System Error continues, replace the Formatter.
Problem Description:
HCI queue does not end after 2 seconds.
Corrective Action:
Try the following:
1. Switch the Power OFF from the back of the Printer and disconnect the Power cord. Reconnect the power cord and power On the Printer.
2. If the System Error continues, replace the Formatter.
3. If the System Error continues, replace the Main PCA.
Problem Description:
This is an error that is related to the Hard Disk Drive, either the connections are bad or that the Hard Disk Drive or the Main PCA are defective.
Corrective Action:
Try the following:
1. Unplug the Printer, remove the HDD cover and check that the two cables (a flat one and the power cable) are connected. Also check that the flat cable connector is clipped in correctly. If the problem persists, replace the Hard Disk Drive.
2. If the problem continues, check that the Green and Orange LED’s on the Main PCA are ON. If they are not ON, probably the PWS or its connections are defective. If the two LED’s are ON and the error continues, replace the Main PCA.
Problem Description:
This is an error related to the Hard Disk Drive, either the connections are bad or the Hard Disk Drive or the Main PCA are defective.
Corrective Action:
Try the following:
1. Unplug the Printer, remove the HDD cover and check that the two cables (a flat one and the power cable) are connected. Also check that the flat cable connector is clipped in correctly. If the problem persists, replace the Hard Disk Drive.
2. If the problem continues, check that the Green and Orange LED’s on the Main PCA are ON. If they are not ON, probably the PWS or its connections are defective. If the two LED’s are ON and the error continues, replace the Main PCA.
Problem Description:
After cutting the media, the Printer cannot deactivate the Cutter.
Corrective Action:
Try the following:
1. Check the Cutter and the Carriage Assembly to make sure that they are installed correctly.
